Thank you all for such a great meet tonight!  We ended up losing 408-373, but it really was a win in my book for many reasons, all listed below.  I'll send my comprehensive results email tomorrow, but I couldn't go to sleep tonight before sending this...

1. EVERY swimmer who was entered in the meet showed up!  No one got sick, no one got hurt, no one assumed the weather would be too bad.  This is only the 2nd time in my 22 years of summer league coaching that this has happened!

2. We had so many parents step up to volunteer that we had to turn a few 2nd shift people away!

3. The weather gods were apparently very in our favor as we were in a circle of clear with all storms around us.

4. Only 1 swimmer missed a race (out of over 200 individual races and many more relays)!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You have no idea the stress that it takes off of me when all of things happen and we don't have to re-do relays, tell kids they can't swim, etc.  You've set the bar high for meet 1...let's keep it going and set a record! :)
