We had a great meet today!  I will send an email with combined results from Tech once they release that after all sessions have finished. For those trying to qualify for state, I believe the coach and parent running the team will reach out once they know who qualifies (I will pass on email addresses for all of you).

I included a season times spreadsheet by swimmer for you to have as well, and I did it 1 athlete per page if you want to print your child's times!

RECORDS BROKEN

We had 3 records broken today! To see all records, they are on our site, mtps.swimtopia.com, under the "about" tab.  The 7-8 boys medley relay was less than 1 second off the record as well!

Sadie Mann broke her own 13-14 girls' 50 free record with a time of 24.70 and her own 13-14 girls' 50 breast record with a time of 30.49!

Jacob Robb broke the 7-8 boys' 50 free record with a time of 37.16!

MEET RESULTS

It was a crazy, chaotic day, but what an incredible meet! Thank you to everyone who volunteered: Kacy Homans, Leticia Weidenhamer, Lauren Rosenbaum, Nora Robb, Lauren Strickland, and Justin Wingo! Thanks to our 13&ups for stepping in to help with relays as well as taking kids to the bullpen. Our 9-12 year olds did a great job taking kids to the bullpen as well.  And thanks for Rebekah Murphy for helping get everyone to their events!  Full results are attached!

We came in 13th place overall out of 18 teams. Every team that beat us had more than 40 swimmers at the meet (we had 36), and all but 2 of the teams had over 50 at the meet. We also beat 2 teams that had more swimmers than us and 1 that had just 1 less swimmer!

We had 40 improved times, which was 46% of our swims! Lots of 2-3 second drops, which is hard to do when you're already fast! 

There were about 1,000 swimmers entered in the meet...here are our finishes!

*if you see an x by your name on the full results, that means exhibition. The people trying to qualify for the state team swim can swim 1 extra event for state purposes, but it doesn't count for points at the meet.
