I hope you've had a good weekend since we ended!  Thank you all SO much for a fantastic season and such a fun party on Thursday.  I'm sad the season is over!

YEAR ROUND SWIM OPPORTUNITIES

There are Wavemakers that swim at Lifetime, Chastain, Stingrays, and Dynamo...if you want to talk to someone who swims there, let me know and I can connect you. We have had people in the past that were at Swim Atlanta and Chattahoochee Gold, just not currently!

There are options starting at 1 day a week for younger kids up to 6 days a week (older kids). I'm happy to help you figure it out if you are looking for something as well, just let me know!

WATER POLO

Any boy 8th grade and older, we would love for you to come try water polo with our team! We practice Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-10:30 at Spalding Woods Club all of July (starting July 20)...come try it!  If we have enough (10-12 boys) that are 11-14 years old, we could have a "B" team, so if that applies to you, talk to your friends and let me know.  Also, if we have enough girls (10-12), we could start a girls' team.

FULL MEET RESULTS

Attached are the combined results from all 6 sessions of the meet at Tech. Search "mtps" to easily see all of our swimmers. For reference, the top 40 individuals 10&under and top 30 for 11&up made finals in the past when there was a separate finals session. And to show how many kids swam, there were 394 girls in 7-8 25 freestyle alone! 

Here are our top 30 finishes, highlighted by a 1st place overall finish by Sadie in 50 breast, which was also faster than all the 15-18 girls too, (and she was 4th in 50 free)! And other top 10 finishes by Liv (4th in 25 back), Jacob (2nd in 50 free and 5th in 100 IM), Sam (6th in 100 IM), and Eli, Gaines, Jacob, and Aaron (6th in the 7-8 medley relay)!

Top 30 finishes:

6th: 7-8 boys medley relay: Eli, Gaines, Jacob, Aaron

22nd: 9-10 boys medley relay: Ben, Lion, Ethan, Sam

23rd: 9-10 boys free relay: Ben, Ethan, Noah, Sam

James Holder - 23rd in 100 IM and 17th in 50 breast

Eli Kaplan - 26th in 25 back

Sadie Mann - 4th in 50 free and 1st in 50 breast

Jacob Robb - 2nd in 50 free and 5th in 100 IM

Liv Silver - 4th in 25 back

Sam Smeltzer - 13th in 50 free and 6th in 100 IM

Aaron Strickland - 17th in 25 free

Kensie Weidenhamer - 18th in 50 free

Gaines Wingo - 16th in 25 back and 15th in 25 breast
