Hi Wavemakers!

We won last night!!!  The final score was 439-347.  Great job!  It was a fun meet to watch with a lot of great swims.  We had everyone show up (again!) for the 3rd meet in a row.  We did have a few get sick, but everyone let me know in advance...THANK YOU!  We have a tough meet next week that promises to be super close, so please make sure to RSVP in advance if you won't be there.  We will need everyone to have a good meet to win.

TEAM PICTURE REMINDER/MAKE-UP INDIVIDUAL PICTURES

We have team pictures tomorrow (Thursday) at 5PM at Princeton Square with practice to follow for those not able to come in the morning.  Please wear your team t-shirt and suit (if you have one).  For those not able to attend team pictures you can do make-up individual pictures if you would like. MEET RESULTS

I saw lots of good things happening last night both in and out of the water.  Lots of kids were cheering for each other, congratulating opponents on good races, taking what we've been practicing and doing it in their races, great job!  I feel like I say this every week, and I do, but we have the most amazing group of 11 and older kids who help out catching heads on backstroke, bringing kids to lanes, organizing relays, and the list goes on.  I asked MANY kids to do favors for me last night, and every single kid did it with a smile.  I am also super thankful for all of the parents for volunteering, communicating with me, and just being a great group who is always there and willing to help when needed.  I attached a few more things than usual since it was a meters pool.  First, I attached the heat sheet so you can find your child and see what their previous best time was after being converted to meters.  I then attached the results and a list of best times so if your child went a best time last night you can see how it converts to yards.  I hope that all makes sense!

Our biggest "loser" for this meet was Eli Fay! Eli dropped 24 seconds in his 25 backstroke (after dropping over 2 minutes in it last week)!  Great job Eli!  Georgia Lutz also dropped 25 seconds in her 100 IM!!  Great job Georgia!  Here are the other kids who dropped 5 or more seconds in 1 race. And we had so many more best times, but as you know it gets harder to drop 5 seconds the faster you get! Great job to all!
