Thank you and Finals update

Thank you all for a wonderful season!  This was my 7th summer with the Wavemakers, and I think it was the best one yet!  I can't say enough how much I appreciate all of the parents for all of your help and to all of the swimmers who stepped up to help with pool set up/clean up, organizing kids at meets, catching heads on backstroke, etc.  It takes a village and we have a great one!  I will send an email with all of the results from today (and Saturday) after Saturday's finals, but I'll be sending updates tomorrow so everyone knows who is swimming!

See below for

  • Where to look for making finals
  • Who I think is in
  • Times for Saturday

HOW DO I KNOW IF I MAKE FINALS?

The leaderboard is posted and will be updated at this website: http://atlantaswimming.com/NASAChampionships. It's the top 10 relays and the top 40 individuals for 10&under and top 30 for 11 and over.  There are 2 more sessions tomorrow as well.  We will NOT have practice tomorrow.

WHO IS IN?

For relays, the girls 9-10 and girls 13-14 relays are still in the top 10, but we'll have to see what happens tomorrow.  If the relays make it back, 9-10 will be: Abby, Maggie, Hailey, and Kate.  13-14 will be Dani, Kate, Sydney, Su Lin.

Here is who I think will definitely make it back with results so far for individual:

Abby Simon

Sydney Smith

Kate Zaparaniuk

Leo Roden

Here is who is still in the hunt, but may get bumped after tomorrow:

Libby for 25 back (29th right now)

Jack for 25 breast (31st right now)

Saena (24th in 50 free and 15th in 50 breast)

Su Lin for 50 breast (26th now)

Wally for 50 breast (22nd now) and IM (25th)

Sarah 100 free and IM (27th now in both)

WHAT TIME IS IT ON SATURDAY?

For 10 and under, warmups are 9:25 and meet starts at 11.  For 11 and older, warmups are 2:20 and meet starts at 4.  If relays don't make it back, we can arrive after scheduled warmups as the warmup pool will be open during the meet.

Thanks!

Coach Julie
