MEET RESULTS

Great job again last night! We ended up beating Dunwoody North, 513-283! But even more exciting is all of the good swims we had…see below! The full results are attached in excel form as the league had to combine our meet this time as the other team is in a meters pool, so it all had to be converted. When they did it, they sent an excel doc of results, but it’s by age group which is nice!

We had 7 team records broken, all in the 15-18 age group: Evan, Wally, Ryan, and Leo broke the medley (1:49.23) and free (1:36.00) relay records! Leo also broke the 50 free (22.48), 100 IM (59.63), and 50 fly (24.91) records! Wally broke the 50 breast record (32.00)! And Sydney broke the 100 free (57.71) record! Great job!

Some of the times used to see our improvement are still from 2 years ago, so many of you may be surprised to see these time drops, but we had a lot of big improvement last night. I also wanted to let people know that as we change/fix/improve the swimmers’ strokes, sometimes they do get slower before they get faster! Our biggest “loser” of the meet is actually 2 people. The first is Kate Zaparaniuk who dropped 29 seconds in her 100 IM from her 2 years ago (or longer) time! The second is Victoria Bondell who dropped 14 seconds in her 25 free and 8 seconds in her 25 back…from last week!
