I truly cannot believe our last meet has already happened! Please see team party info, a note about tomorrow, and meet results below:

TEAM PARTY

We are set for our team party next Tuesday, June 29, 5:30-7:30. Again, our team pictures will be that night as well, at 5:30 (please wear your team suit if you have one and your team t-shirt). We will have pizza for all swimmers and families but need you to RSVP by Sunday so we order the right amount (and please bring drinks for your family). Swimmers eat for free, family members will pay $5 each. RSVP and pay on the site: mtps.swimtopia.com, go to “calendar”, and click on RSVP! We will have ribbons from the meet at the party. If you cannot attend the party, we’ll send options for how to pick them up.

TECH MEET TOMORROW

As a reminder to those attending, we are meeting at 7AM in front of the aquatic center. MEET RESULTS

We ended with a wet one, in every sense of the word, but we ended up winning 397-317! There were a lot of best times, which makes sense given that we could see the competition! I was so proud of all of the improvement that I could see throughout the meet, especially in the finishes that we had worked so hard on…we definitely out touched them multiple times! The ref DQ’d many people, but we had zero DQ’s for our team!!! Ribbons will be at the party next week, and full results are attached.

Huge shout out to Thomas and Max who swam EVERY event as they were the only 2 13-14 boys we had there!!

Our biggest “losers” were: Regan Waters who dropped 14 seconds in her 50 free (time from previous season)!!! Molly Gifford who dropped 12 seconds in her 25 back!!! And Margot Gorman who dropped 10 seconds in her 25 free and 9 seconds in her 25 back!!!
