Hi Wavemakers past and present,

I am sending emails to those registered and those that swam last season. I will start to send just to this season's swimmers soon, but want to continue to keep everyone in the loop in case anyone is going to swim and just hasn't registered yet. I hope you are all doing well! Here is some important information.

PRACTICE

Practice starts May 9 at Mark Trail at the times below (210 Seville Chase). 

• Ages 6&under: Mon - Thurs from 5:00 pm – 5:25 pm
• Ages 7 to 10: Mon - Thurs from 5:30 pm – 6:10 pm
• Ages 11 & older: Mon – Thurs from 6:15 pm – 7:00 pm

WHAT TO BRING TO PRACTICE

Swimmers should wear their suit to practice if possible as the bathrooms do not allow for many to be changing at the same time.  Also bring goggles (if desired) and a towel. 11&up should bring a water bottle as well.  We will watch the water and air temps and only get in the pool if it is safe/warm enough.  For the first week, please have your child either wear or bring tennis shoes as well so we can do dry land exercises if necessary.

MEETS

Our meets will be back to normal this year, and we have 3 home meets and 2 away.  Our schedule can be see at https://mtps.swimtopia.com/swim_meets.  

JUNIOR COACHES

If your 13 and older swimmers is interested in being a junior coach, please let me know! Junior coaches are volunteer coaches that help out at practices and meets. I work with them on how to coach/teach effectively as they work with the younger age groups.  I already have some on my list, but wanted to open it to anyone interested!

Here is a list of families who are registered.  Please encourage anyone you know not on this list that is planning to swim to register ASAP!
