Great job last night! I had so much fun, I don't know about you guys.  We had lots of fast swims, improvements, and a lot of smiles, which is the most important!  Lots of results/details below.

VOLUNTEERING

We had a few people sign up to volunteer and then not show up.  We understand that things happen, but if you sign up and then are unable to attend, please remove your name from the site and let us know so that we can fill that spot.  Also, please pay attention to which shift you are signing up for (1st or 2nd).  I heard there were many who didn't know they were 2nd shift last night.  Thanks in advance!  And huge shout out to those that worked both shifts just to help us out...I'm sure there were others, but Jesse, Jordan, and Susan I know for sure!  

INITIAL RSVP FOR TUESDAY

Here are the swimmers who have said they are NOT swimming (or are juniors) next Tuesday. If your child is not listed and they will NOT be swimming, please go to mtps.swimtopia.com, click on "calendar" and then "meet entry" to add their name by Friday. Thanks! If a junior shows us at practice that they are ready this week, we can enter them, they just have to do it at practice before Tuesday.

MEET RESULTS

I saw so many things again to highlight last night. Our kids really care about each other and the team, and it really showed last night. I love that many of our swimmers were cheering for every kid that was in the pool, no matter what!  My goal, and what I care more about than anything, is that we are improving, and we are!  Also, we won 387-377!!!

We had a lot of best times last night! I have attached the full results. Lots of kids swam things for the first time ever as well! As we get faster, it is harder to drop a lot of time at once, but we still had a lot of huge drops (see below).

Below I have details for the biggest "loser" and first place finishes.

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our 3 biggest losers of this meet are Nora Leach who dropped 23 sec in 25 free and 35 sec in 25 back!  Eleanor Murphy who dropped 16 sec in 25 free and 12 sec in 25 back!  And Hazel Blackstone who dropped 9 sec in 50 free and 21 sec in 50 back!  Great job guys!
