MEET AT REDFIELD-info from the other team (1080 Redfield Lane, Dunwoody)
Our theme will be Hawaiian! When arriving into Redfield, the parking lot for the pool is relatively small but there is parking available on one side of the street all around the neighborhood. There will be signs designated on which side of the street not to park on.
You will be given a small pavilion and a part of the grassy area on the side of the pool deck. You can use both those spaces for bullpen and parent seating. Parents will want to bring lawn chairs because seating is limited!
Concessions will be available for purchase and will have a full concession stand that includes dinner options and cash is preferred!!
TEAM PARTY
More details to come, but please mark your calendars for the evening of June 28 for our team party, at Mark Trail!
RSVP FOR MEETS
Please go ahead and RSVP for the last 2 meets if you will be missing either of them!
ASA CHAMPIONSHIPS
We will attend the ASA Championship Meet again this year at Georgia Tech. Here is how it works...to swim in the meet, it is $45 per swimmer. Swimmers get to swim in 2 individual events and 2 relays (just like a normal meet). Our divisional championship (all the teams in our "region") will be on Wednesday, June 28, at 9:30am-1PM. There is no final sessions this year, only the one session and they will combine all sessions virtually to see the ultimate winners of each event. We will be also need a few parents to help on deck and also to volunteer (more info to come).
I'm hoping we have a good group go like we did the last few years! We had over 60 attend in 2018 and about 50 in 2019! I need your form (attached) and $45 by Wednesday, June 21 if you are going to attend the meet. You can pay with cash or go to the website and click on “shop”. For those that want to participate in the state qualifying meet, we will use this meet as the state qualifying meet. The state meet is July 14 for 10&unders and July 15 for 11&ups at Columbus Aquatic Center, and the Sandy Springs team will have practice somewhere in the area leading up to the meet.
Here is who has already paid so I just need your form to finish the registration. Form can be emailed or turn in a physical copy.
