MEET RESULTS
I am so sorry that I did not email out that it was a meters pool last night! I meant to and it just didn't happen. So...meters are longer than yards as we know, so the pool was longer. Times do convert automatically, so the times in the heat sheet were the converted times to meters. I have attached the results and also a season spreadsheet for each swimmer that shows all times in yards (so you can see how last night's times convert back to yards).
Still a lot of best times, which is impressive given those last 5 meters or so tend to be tough when you're used to swimming only 25 yards! And we won 553-232...wow! We won EVERY butterfly event and almost every relay for the entire meet!
We had 2 team records set as well! Leo Roden, in his last meet as a Wavemaker, broke the 15-18 boys 50 back record with a converted time of 25.48! He also equaled the 100 IM record with a time of 56.24! Congratulations Leo!
Below I have details for the biggest "loser" and first place finishes.
For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. This gets harder and harder as we move through the season, as it's hard to drop a lot of time the faster you get. Our biggest loser of this meet is Jesse Schaudies who dropped 34 sec in 25 free and swam backstroke for the first time! Great job Jesse!
Other big "losers" (those who dropped 5 or more seconds) are listed below. Congrats to all! We had 66 best times as well, but most were a less than 5 sec drop, haha!
Kara Hutton - 7 sec in 100 IM
Aidan Jones - 12 sec in 100 IM
Nora Leach - 7 sec in 25 free, 12 sec in 25 back
Colin Monteith - 7 sec in 50 free
Eleanor Murphy - 28 sec in 25 free
Clayton Russell - 5 sec in 25 free, 8 sec in 25 back

Ada Shupe - 5 sec in 25 free
Tucker Stillwagon - 8 sec in 25 back
