Hi Wavemakers!

I hope everyone is doing well! Lots of important info here, so please read carefully. Also, we noticed that we had a lot of kids come to the donuts/ribbons practice on Wednesday, but then not come to any other practices.  We know people will miss here and there, but it is discouraging to the coaches when people only show up for the 1 day that isn't a real practice.

Morning practice times:

8:30-9:25: 7-10 year olds

9:30-10: 6&unders

10:00-11: 11 and older

Evening practice times at Princeton Square (7476 Princeton Trace NE)

5:30-6PM: 6&unders

6-6:45PM: 7-10 year olds

6:45-7:30PM: 11 and older

POST MEET HANG OUT

We will go to Sonic after meets this year. Anyone who wants to come is welcome, just head there after the meet! 5903 Roswell Road. If you have a suggestion for a different place to go that will take a large group after 9PM, please let me know!

TEAM PICTURES

We will have team pictures on Wednesday June 5 at Princeton Square (at 5:00). We will take a team picture and individual pictures. Swimmers will wear their suits in the pictures, so if you have a team suit, please have your child wear it that night.

It's a new company this year, and all orders are done online.  They have all email addresses for families and will be emailing you directly.

NOTE ABOUT LAST DUAL MEET

We wanted to make sure everyone saw on the schedule that the last meet is on a MONDAY, June 24.  

ASA CHAMPIONSHIPS

We will attend the ASA Championship Meet again this year at Georgia Tech. Here is how it works...to swim in the meet, it is $48 per swimmer. Swimmers get to swim in 2 individual events and 2 relays (just like a normal meet). Our divisional championship (all the teams in our "region") will be on Wednesday, June 26, at  4pm. There is no final sessions this year, only the one session and they will combine all sessions virtually to see the ultimate winners of each event. We will be also need a few parents to help on deck and also to volunteer (more info to come).

I need your form (attached) and $48 by Wednesday, June19 if you are going to attend the meet. You can pay with cash or go to the website and click on “shop”. For those that want to participate in the state qualifying meet, we will use this meet as the state qualifying meet. The state meet is July 19 for 10&unders and July 20 for 11&ups at Columbus Aquatic Center, and the Sandy Springs team will have practice somewhere in the area leading up to the meet.
