It was a hot one for sure last night, and the water temps do make it hard to swim your best times, especially in longer races, but we did great!  All results below as well as some important info about the team party and championship meet.

INITIAL RSVP FOR MONDAY

Here are the swimmers who have said they are NOT swimming (or are juniors) next Monday. If your child is not listed and they will NOT be swimming, please go to mtps.swimtopia.com, click on "calendar" and then "meet entry" to add their name by Friday. Thanks! If a junior shows us at practice that they are ready this week, we can enter them, they just have to do it at practice before Tuesday.

TEAM PARTY

Our team party is next Thursday, June 27.  Swimmers eat free, family members eat for $12.  Please RSVP on the website (go to calendar and you'll see an RSVP button) for those that will be attending AND eating, including your swimmer(s).  If you will not be eating, we still want you there, just don't need numbers for that!  For any family members also eating, there is an item on the website under "shop" where you can pay.  

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

Here is who I have as going to the meet and also what we would ideally get to also go to make relays.  I can extend the deadline to tomorrow, Thursday, but not anymore than that or we'll have to pay late fees (which are insanely expensive).

We won the meet 416-356!  Huge shout out to Denys Pushkar and William Beach for swimming up an age group for their events to help out the team! They both swam in the 15-18 boys races...thank you! Big congratulations to Sam Smeltzer for breaking our 7-8 boys 50 free record with a time of 37.25!

I have attached the full results. Lots of kids swam things for the first time ever as well! The water is like bath water currently, so it's hard to go fast.  I will say that some of the kids that added a lot of time we haven't seen much at practice recently.  Swimming is a hard sport to do well without practice, so please try to come to these last few!

Below I have details for the biggest "loser" and first place finishes.

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our biggest loser this week is Noah Rosenbaum who dropped 33 seconds in his 25 fly!  He also swam IM for the first time!  Great job Noah!
