Great meet last night, and the ice cream party at the end was so fun (great idea Nora Robb)!  What you all didn't know was the the entire Swimtopia site had a nationwide outage yesterday from sometime around noon until just after 4.  This meant we couldn't do anything (print anything, check volunteers, email you all, make any changes for kids who were sick, etc.).  It was a tense few hours, but thankfully they were able to get it back up in time for all the meets last night!

Shout out to everyone who swam up an age group for relays, especially Evie and Grace who swam up from 7-8s all the way in the 15-18 relay!

And a shout out to Joshua, Sadie, and Violet who swam EVERY individual event in their age group plus relays!

MEET RESULTS

I was so happy to see everyone helping each other last night.  From the 11&ups helping with relays, to the 7-8 girls helping the 6&unders get to their lanes, to the 9-10 boys making sure there is no quiet moment (in a good way, haha).  Lots of cheering and "2 hands" reminders from so many as well!  And we won 507-259, wow!

We had a lot of best times again, with 48% of our swims being best times! I have attached the full results.  I fixed a few times that were wrong in the system, so if your child has a different time on their ribbon from what's on this report, the one on the report is correct.  As we get faster, it is harder to drop a lot of time at once, but we still had a lot of huge drops (see below).  For the younger kids, we also had kids add substantial time, which definitely happens, especially if they're in camp all day.  We'll keep working on it!

Below I have details for the biggest "loser" and first place finishes.

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our biggest loser this week is Adam Blanco who dropped 44 seconds in his 25 backstroke! Great job!
