Hi Wavemakers!

Happy early Father's Day to all Wavemaker dads!  I hope you all enjoy your weekend!  We only have 1 full week and a half week left, which is insane.  

We are looking for a couple parents to take over rolls for next season/shadow.  We'd like to find someone now so we can transition while we're all still together.  We will need someone to take over spiritwear/sponsorships for next season and also someone to shadow our current treasurer as next year will be her last.  If you are interested in either, let me know!

Morning practice times:

8:30-9:25: 7-10 year olds

9:30-10: 6&unders

10:00-11: 11 and older

Evening practice times at Princeton Square (7476 Princeton Trace NE)

5:30-6PM: 6&unders

6-6:45PM: 7-10 year olds

6:45-7:30PM: 11 and older

Monday-morning practice at Mark Trail, TEAM PICS at 5pm at Princeton Square, followed by a shortened evening practice

Tuesday-morning practice at Mark Trail, meet- at Huntcliff (9072 River Run) arrive by 4:45 for warm-ups

TEAM PICTURES

We have a new photographer this year as last year's person isn't doing sports anymore. She has 3 options for people who want to purchase, attached to this email. Pics are on June 16, at Princeton Square, starting at 5PM. We ask everyone who can make it to come, even if you aren't buying pictures. And if your child has a team suit, they will wear that. Thanks!

NOTE FROM HUNTCLIFF

Parking: We will have a volunteer responsible for directing cars for where they can park. Our main lot fills up quickly and depending on whether our overflow field might not be available. We ask everyone to carpool when possible.

If we are not able to use the field then cars will need to park on the road going up the hill. We ask that they only park on the right side when heading up the hill.

If we are able to use the field, we are only able to park around the perimeter of the field. The center of this field is a flood zone and has caused cars to get stuck when they do not follow this request.

Seating:

We have limited seating around the pool for spectators. We suggest the visiting team set up camp in the field just north of the pool. We have an event counter that will be visible from the field as well as the pool deck in the upstairs balcony area. Please bring tents, chairs, bug spray and blankets so your team will be more comfortable. Our field and pool is located very near the Chattahoochee River. It is a beautiful site to enjoy. We ask that families keep an eye on their children and remind them that the river is not like the pool and the current can be very strong. We have a playground in the area that will be taped off. We ask that no one plays on the playground during the swim meet.

Reminder that the last regular meet is on a MONDAY, June 23.

ASA CHAMPIONSHIPS

We will attend the ASA Championship Meet again this year at Georgia Tech. Here is how it works...to swim in the meet, it is $50 per swimmer. Swimmers get to swim in 2 individual events and 2 relays (just like a normal meet). Our divisional championship will be on Wednesday, June 25, at 4pm. We will be also need a few parents to help on deck and also to volunteer (more info to come).

The registration form is attached and is due by Wednesday, June 18 (either printed or emailed).
