Well turns out I was losing it when I sent this email last night...thanks to those that noticed my errors so I can correct them!  If you saw the 7-10 practice last night it probably makes sense that I was losing it, haha.  Here are corrections and 1 found item from last night:

Hey Wavemakers,

Here is who I have registered for the championship meet and what I need, if anything from you. We still have 2 days to register (form attached to this) as well. I also have info about parking, spirit wear, etc. below.

GENERAL INFO

I will have volunteer info soon, as well as arrival/warm-up time. Here is what I do have:

Fyi, the only people allowed on deck are coaches, swimmers, and volunteers. Parents are to sit in the stands. Thanks!

MEET INFO

The meet starts at 4 with the 6&u free relays and all medley relays, then 6&under free, all free relays, 6&under back, and then the rest of the individual events for 7&up. There will be 2 pools going on at the same time. All girls will be in the pool to the right as you look from the stands and all boys will be in the other pool, closest to the scoreboard. Parking-note from the league

Prepaid parking will be available in the W10 parking deck that is adjacent to the CRC. To park in this deck, you must prebuy a parking pass, you cannot pay at the gate. To prepurchase parking please visit https://gatech.parkmobile.io/events . Parking costs will be between $12-15. Overflow parking for W10 and any day of parking for those who did not prepay is located at the W23 lot at 905 State St. These are relatively short walks from the pool. A map of the area can be found at Georgia Tech General Parking Map and ASA Parking Diagram and Map Please plan accordingly.

Please don’t park anywhere else, unless you want your car ticketed, booted or towed. Due to construction around campus please try to carpool to alleviate congestion. Teams, please be advised that barring a miracle, traffic is still bad in Atlanta. Please advise your swimmers and families to build in a little extra time to account for any delays.

STATE QUALIFYING

For those that are trying to qualify for the Sandy Springs state team (state meet is July 25-26), there could be kids trying to qualify during all sessions Wednesday through Friday. As an FYI, you will see “SP5” before/after all names in the meet that are trying to qualify for state (not just our session, but the whole meet).

CONCESSIONS

Large coolers are not allowed inside, but feel free to send a small cooler with your swimmer. They aren't sure what concessions will look like, so send snacks and drinks!

ASA will again partner with Fine Designs Apparel. They will be providing ASA Championship t shirts and a broad line of specially designed items for this year’s big meet.
