It was a hot one and then so much rain last night, but thank you so much to everyone who stuck it out!  Special thanks to those that ended up volunteering for the entire meet because the 2nd shift people didn't stay through the delay!

Here are the swimmers who have said they are NOT swimming (or are juniors) next Monday. If your child is not listed and they will NOT be swimming, please go to mtps.swimtopia.com, click on "calendar" and then "meet entry" to add their name by Friday. Thanks! If a junior shows us at practice that they are ready this week, we can enter them, they just have to do it at practice before Tuesday.

TEAM PARTY

Our team party is next Thursday, June 26. Swimmers eat free, family members eat for $12. Please RSVP on the website (go to calendar and you'll see an RSVP button) for those that will be attending AND eating, including your swimmer(s). If you will not be eating, we still want you there, just don't need numbers for that! For any family members also eating, there is an item on the website under "shop" where you can pay.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

Here is who I have as going to the meet and also what we would ideally get to also go to make relays. I can extend the deadline to tomorrow, Thursday, but not anymore than that or we'll have to pay late fees (which are insanely expensive). You can email or text your forms as well, I don't need the physical copy.

We won the meet 373-318! Huge shout out to Libby Homans, Violet Bell, Sadie Mann, and Joshua Rubin for swimming every individual event in their age group!

I have attached the full results (I know times are incorrect for Libby H, Colin, and James S for freestyle...I'm waiting on the other team to check the timer sheets). The water was very warm, so it's not a surprise that we didn't have quite as many best times, and with the long delay as well.  I'm so proud of how we swam under any circumstances, but especially with all of that!  We still had 30% of our swims be best times!

Below I have details for the biggest "loser" and first place finishes.

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our biggest loser this week is Jonas Stepp who dropped 1:11 in his 25 free!
