What a meet last night!  I'll take the heat over the storms I think, but that was definitely a hot one.  We won 488-299! See below for details, team party reminder, and Tech info.  Also, no donuts and ribbons this morning.  We have normal practice for those going to Tech (9-10am for all 10&unders; 10-11am for 11&older).  We'll have ribbons for everyone at the party on Thursday.

TEAM PARTY

Our team party is next Thursday, June 24, from 6-8PM. Swimmers eat free, family members eat for $12. Please RSVP on the website (go to calendar and you'll see an RSVP button) for those that will be attending AND eating, including your swimmer(s). If you will not be eating, we still want you there, just don't need numbers for that! For any family members also eating, there is an item on the website under "shop" where you can pay.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEET AT TECH - NEW INFO

Reminder that we'll meet outside the aquatic center at 2:50 (750 Ferst Dr, Atlanta), take a team pic, and then enter together. Save my number in case you need help/get lost, 770-289-6626. The meet start is 4:00, but our warm-ups are earlier.

If you want to write on arms ahead of time, you can find the entry info attached to this email, and we start on page 71. We will do this at the meet, so don't feel like you have to do it in advance if you are unsure how to do it.

Parking - I have asked about parking passes opening up and will let you know when I hear.  There is overflow parking if that doesn't happen.

Volunteers - We need 2 timers in the boys' pool for 1st shift, 1 more timer in the boys' pool for 2nd shift, and 1 girls' bullpen worker for 2nd shift.  We can't swim in the meet without these volunteers.

I was so impressed with how we swam last night.  It's hard to go fast in the heat, and we still had best times in 47% of our swims!  Shout out to Coach Joshua for swimming every event (again)!  I have attached the full results here.

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our biggest loser this week is Emma Murray! Emma dropped 1:39 from her time at time trials in 25 free, and she's only 3 years old and swims the whole lap without stopping!
