| I wanted to get word out to you about two great swim meets coming to Atlanta and Georgia Tech in February and March. The Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming and Diving Championship as well as NCAA Division I Women's and Men's Championships are returning to Atlanta and Georgia Tech. The ACC meet is Tuesday, Feb. 17 - Saturday, Feb. 21. The NCAA Women's Championship is Wednesday March 18 - Saturday, March 21; the Men's Championship will be Wednesday March 18 - Saturday, March 21. These meets involve the best collegiate swimmers in the US and will have dozens of Olympians from the Paris Games, we will see some exceptional swimming. There are a variety of positions available for adults and kids and you are able to sign up for more than one. Specific jobs that need to be filled include basket helpers behind the blocks, standard bearers to help walk out the finalists for their events, awards staging, and ready room helpers. There will be opportunities for kids as awards helpers and standard bearers. Volunteers for these positions must be age 11-18 and be available to work from 5 pm until 9 pm on the night(s) they volunteer.
