Great job last night! It still rained on us and was definitely colder than normal June weather, but we still had lots of fast swims, improvements, and a lot of smiles, which is the most important! Lots of results/details below.

Thank you to all of the parents and friends that helped with set up and clean up.  We couldn't do it without all of your help, thank you thank you thank you!

PM PRACTICE - I heard we had A LOT of kids on Monday (last week was very light for PM practice).  We are working on a plan to help with this, but if you can come in the morning, please please do!  If your child is 10 and coming to PM practice, we are asking that they do the 6:45-7:30 practice to help with numbers.

MEET RESULTS

Thank you for volunteering and helping run a great meet! I'm so thankful we had better weather. Also, we won 427-346!!!

We had a lot of best times again last night! It's hard to swim fast when you are so cold, but we still 44% of our swims were best times! I have attached the full results. Lots of kids swam things for the first time ever as well! As we get faster, it is harder to drop a lot of time at once, but we still had a lot of huge drops (see below). It is also totally normal for kids to add time, especially the little ones, depending on the day.

SHOUT OUTS: We had 4 records broken last night!  Sam Smeltzer broke the 9-10 boys 100 IM record with a time of 1:20.69 (dropping 5 seconds!) and the 25 fly record with a time 15.53!  Sadie Mann broke the 13-14 girls 50 free record with a time of 25.65 and the 100 free record with a time of 57.38!  Congratulations Sam and Sadie!  Big shout out to Lola Toole who swam every event in the 15-18 age group as well!  Thanks Lola!

For every meet we choose a biggest "loser(s)", meaning the person who drops or "loses" the most time. Our biggest losers this week are Evelyn Manning who dropped 1:31 in 25 free! Felicity Duvall who dropped 55 seconds in 25 free! And Savannah Smeltzer who dropped 14 seconds in 25 free and 20 seconds in 25 back! Great job!
