TEAM PARTY

Don’t forget the team party Thursday from 5:30-7:30 at Mark Trail.  We will do awards at 6 so those that may arrive a little late from work, etc. will be there.  All details can be found at this link: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0b4faead2aa13-wavemakers.

MEET RESULTS

We ended up on the short end of the points last night, losing 411-334.  They had some really fast swimmers, especially in the older age groups, but we did our best, and that’s all I can ask for.  There was so much improvement throughout the season, and so much team spirit…it was awesome!  The full results are attached, and we will have your ribbons at the party on Thursday.

Our biggest “loser” of the meet was Gabi Linehan who dropped 15 seconds in 50 free!  Congrats Gabi!  Lottie Chappell also dropped 15 seconds in her 100 IM!!  Awesome job Lottie!  Here are the other big “losers” who dropped 5+ seconds in an event!  There aren’t quite as many as earlier meets, but as the season goes on, it gets harder and harder to drop large amounts of time.  The fact that these kids could still drop 5+ seconds is truly amazing!

Alyssa Bernath- 13 sec in 25 breast

Harper Claire Burt- 5 sec in 25 free, 9 sec in 25 back

Daniel Evangelista- 5 sec in 50 free

Catherine Johnson- 11 sec in 50 free

Ty Klein- 5 sec in 100 IM

Beau Milam- 11 sec in 100 free, 10 sec in 50 breast

Smith O’Connell- 13 sec in 25 back

Abby Simon- 5 sec in 100 IM

Lola Toole- 5 sec in 25 back

Caroline Tully- 7 sec in 25 back
