MONDAY MORNING PRACTICE

Atlanta Swim Academy is coming for 1 hour to run a clinic for our team.  Each year we have them work for 30 minutes with 7-10 year olds and then 30 minutes with 11 and up.  Due to this, we have to swap some practice times.  Here are the times:

6&under-8:30-9am; 7-10 year olds- 9-10am; 11&up- 10-11 (no change)

 

SCHEDULE
The rest of the week is the normal practice schedule, Monday morning is the only change.  We will go to Mellow Mushroom again after the meet as well.

 

TUESDAY'S MEET
We are at Hanover West on Tuesday, which is a little farther than our usual meets.  The address is 1385 Hanover West Dr NW, Atlanta.  With no traffic it is 20 minutes from the Mark Trail pool, but please allow for traffic at that time of day.  If you think you will be late, please let me know.  Also, last week at Hanover West's meet, there was a car break in.  The person was caught in the act, but just as a reminder, you shouldn't leave any valuables in your car (at any meet).

 

ASA CHAMPIONSHIPS
The deadline has been extended until this Thursday at noon to turn in your entry form and money for the ASA Championships.  The meet is on June 29 and finals are on July 2.  You do not have to be able to attend finals to go on the 29th.  The entry form is attached again if you need it!  We had 62 kids go last year and so far we're at 7 this year.  I know I've heard from many more who are planning on going, so make sure to get your forms in!  They score to 24th place at the meet, so we need everyone who can go to be there if we want to bring another trophy home.

 

TEAM PARTY
More details to come soon, but the team party is on the calendar for Thursday, June 30.  It has been on the calendar on the team site all year, but we wanted to make sure everyone knew since it's coming up so quickly!
