Wow, what a meet!  It was a very close meet for about half of it, and then we had a little more breathing room after the IM.  The final score was Wavemakers 441 to Hammond Hills 349!  Great job!  We had only 1 swimmer not at the meet that I didn't know about...we're so close to that goal of zero!  And we (again!) had not one kid miss a race!!  I can't say enough how amazing that is and it is truly because of all of the parents, coaches, and 11&up helpers that pitched in all meet long!  Below is some important info and the results!

MORNING VS AFTERNOON PRACTICE

Now that we have normal evening practice at Princeton Square, I wanted to remind everyone that if you can come in the morning, we REALLY need you to come then.  We only get 2 lanes at Princeton Square in the evenings, so we need to save these practices for those that are in camps/day care in the morning and have to come at night.  Thanks!

 

MEET MOBILE

There is an app called Meet Mobile where you can see real time results as they are entered in the computer during the meet.  I believe you now have to pay a fee to use Meet Mobile, but it isn't much.  For those that are using it, I wanted to let you know that it doesn't show results by heat, it shows the entire event in order of their times.  In the meet, we go by what the judges say as far as what order the kids finish, but Meet Mobile uses just the times.  This is why there sometimes are discrepancies between your child's ribbon and what place it says on the app. 

 

MEET RESULTS

Again, this was such a great meet!  We had so many swimmers cheering each other on and really watching everyone else swim.  It's great to see!  I've attached a report with all times...if you see any errors or have any questions, please let me know. Our biggest "loser" of the meet was Cole Weidenhamer who dropped 32 seconds in his 25 free!!  Think about that...32 seconds in 1 lap!  Congrats Cole!  Our other big "losers" are below.  This is all who dropped at least 5 seconds in a race.  There were so many more who dropped 1, 2, 3 seconds as well.  It's great to see!  Special shout out to Charley Plumly and John Cleveland for swimming every individual event in their age group!
