KIDS FOR KIDS

The Kids for Kids meet is a week from today (Saturday, June 11).  The forms were due yesterday, but if you forgot to turn it in and still want to participate, I can get you in if you email me by noon tomorrow (Sunday).  The form is attached for you to fill out and email back to me (or email me the info from it).  Thanks!

 

SCHEDULE

Week of 6/6:

normal practice schedule all week

meet on Tuesday at Mark Trail-arrive at 4:30 for warmups--we will have a coaches' costume relay at the conclusion of the meet for all who would like to stay to watch it

Picture retakes are Tuesday as well, 3:15 at Mark Trail (before the meet)

Kids for Kids charity meet on Saturday (only for those that signed up)-I'll let you know warm-up time as soon as they assign it

HUDSON GRILLE

ASA CHAMPIONSHIPS

We will attend the ASA Championship Meet again this year (where we won 2nd place last year!).  Here is how it works...to swim in the meet, it is $20 per swimmer (a great deal to get to swim at the Olympic pool at Georgia Tech!).  Swimmers get to swim in 2 individual events and 2 relays (just like a normal meet).  Our divisional championship (all the teams in our "region") is on Wednesday, June 29, from 9AM-12:30PM.  The top 10 relays and the top 50 individuals (10&under) and the top 40 (11&up) in each event make it to the Championship Final, which is on Saturday, July 2, 12-3 for 10&unders and 4:30-7 for 11&ups.  I'm hoping we have a large group go like we did last year!  I need your form (attached) and $20 by Tuesday, June 21 if you are going to attend the meet.  For those that used to participate in the state qualifying meet, we will use the divisional championship on Wednesday, June 29, as the state qualifying meet.

 

ATLANTA SWIM ACADEMY TRY-OUTS

For anyone interested, the flyer is attached with all details.  We have many swimmers on the team who swim at Atlanta Swim Academy, so if you would like to talk to someone who already swim there, let me know and I can give you some names to talk to.
