Wavemakers in the paper! And saving Spalding Woods

Hey guys!

I hope you have all been enjoying your summer since swim team ended!  I wanted to let you know that we were in the July 10th edition of the Sandy Springs Reporter for our awesome finish at the league championship meet.

You can see it here - or in the print edition out yesterday July 10th.  If you click this link, go to the July 10th edition of the reporter, and we are on page 4!

HELP SAVE SPALDING WOODS POOL

As many of you know, the city is in the process of trying to rezone the Spalding Woods Club property to be sold to a developer.  Below are the addresses of the council as well as a sample email.  I have sent an email to them already, but if any of you have a second to do this as well, they and I would greatly appreciate it.  I would hate to see this facility close...we need more pools in Sandy Springs, not fewer!  Thanks!

Dear Honorable Mayor and Council,

I am a resident at [ADDRESS] in Sandy Springs and I am writing you today to express my opinion regarding the rezoning of the Spalding Woods Club (900 Spalding Drive) to TR – Townhouse Residential.

I appreciate your consideration of this matter.  Thanks for your service to our city.

Thanks!

Coach Julie
