Results, important league info, team party invite
Wow, what a meet! That was one of the closest meets that I've been a part of (and one of the hottest!) and coming out on top was awesome! The final score was 413-379, slightly different than what they actually told us as there were a few errors last night. I was so proud of how our kids cheered for each other and really supported everyone. The starter was actually disqualifying swimmers for doing strokes improperly, and we didn't have one DQ! I was so proud of our kids for doing what we always practice. See below for more meet details and important announcements.

ASA CHAMPIONSHIP MEET
We have a lot of kids signed up for the ASA Championship meet (listed below). I am looking/hoping for a few more to fill out some relays. And they score to 24th place, so the more people we have, the better chance we have to win a trophy (top 3 teams). I have put how many I have per age group as well and ideally want 4, 8, 12, etc. so everyone can do relays (double the points). I have attached the entry form, and can take it by email up to tomorrow morning at 9AM. We can get your money ($20) the next time you are at practice. Also, for those who have registered, I need to know if you will be trying to qualify for the Sandy Springs State Team as well...same meet, just have to enter you with a certain code. The state meet is July 24-25 at Cumming Aquatic Center, and you can find more details here: http://atlantaswimming.com/GPRAHome.asp. You do not need to try for state qualifying to swim at League Championships though!
| Age Group | Boys | Girls |

MEET WRITE UP
Again, what a great meet! So exciting! It really took every swim for us to pull this one out. With the pool being a little longer than what we're used to, we still had a ton of time improvements and won many events. The computer converts the times for me, so we know how much kids improved by. I have attached the results like I normally do, but I've also attached a report that shows improvement since the times probably don't mean much to you at first glance since we always swim yards (they don't mean much to me either!). If you have any questions or see an error, please let me know (I know they switched the 13-14 free relays, but it evens out as far as points go, so we're okay!). Below you will see our first place finishers in the whole event (not just the heat), as well as big "losers" who dropped 5 or more seconds in one event. I also included all swimmers who improved in at least 1 event, though not by 5 seconds as it gets hard to improve by that much as your times get faster. Congratulations to all of these swimmers, and especially to our biggest "loser" of the meet, Jordan Gewertz, who dropped 42 seconds in his 25 free!!
