KIDS FOR KIDS MEET

This is a meet where all proceeds benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  It is completely optional to attend.  It is $30 per swimmer (cash or check made out to MTPS), and each swimmer gets a t-shirt.  The meet is at Marist and is Saturday, June 13, at 9AM.  It's a great opportunity to swim in a great pool and to attend a big meet.  I have attached the entry form that you will fill out and turn into me by June 3 if you are going to attend the meet.  Thanks!

ASA CHAMPIONSHIP MEET/STATE QUALIFYING

Now that we have moved to the ASA league, we have a championship meet!  Here is how it works...to swim in the meet, it is $20 per swimmer (a great deal to get to swim at the Olympic pool at Georgia Tech!).  Swimmers get to swim in 2 individual events and 2 relays (just like a normal meet).  Our divisional chamionship (all the teams in our "region") is on Wednesday, June 24, from 2-6PM.  The top 10 relays and the top 50 individuals in each event make it to the Championship Final, which is on Sunday, June 28, 1-4 for 10&unders and 5:30-8 for 11&ups.  I looked at the results from last year, and I think we could do really well if we have a good number of our kids attend.  I need your $20 by Friday, June 12, if you are going to attend the meet.  When you turn in your $20 (cash or check made out to MTPS), please write on the envelope what 2 events you would like to do.  For those that used to participate in the state qualifying meet, we will use the divisional championship on Wednesday, June 24, as the state qualifying meet.
