Hey Wavemakers!

Great end to the season last night!  While we ended up on the short end of the score (277-195), we swam really well!  Riverside had a lot of kids who swim year round (many at Atlanta Swim Academy), and our swimmers kept up as best they could…going a ton of best times.  If nothing else, their swimmers were a really good advertisement for joining Atlanta Swim Academy or another year round club (more info to come after the team party!).  A huge thank you to all of the parents who helped this meet to run smoothly, especially Ryan Bell, David Grider, and JD Grider who helped me time every kid in the meet so that every swimmer could see how they did!  We hope you enjoyed the coaches’ relay!  Please email me any pictures of the meet that you have, and especially a few of the coaches’ costumes as I don’t have any on my phone!  Thanks!

 

We again had a ton of best times, and as the season goes on it gets harder and harder to drop a lot of time since the times are getting faster and faster.  Here are all those who dropped 5+ seconds…congratulate all of them tonight!  We have 2 biggest “losers” of the meet: Ella Clark who dropped 16 seconds in 25 fly and Beckett Campbell who dropped 13 seconds in 25 free and 15 seconds in 25 back!  Great job Ella and Beckett!
