RSVP FOR MEETS
With 170 swimmers on the team, it is more important than ever that the coaches know if you will not be at a meet well in advance (1 week or more if possible). How do I let the coaches know this? Go to the "swim meets" tab on the website and click RSVP for any meet that your child will NOT be able to attend. This should be done for any of our 5 regular meets (including the mock meet) that your child cannot attend. The Kids for Kids meet is an optional meet that you do not need to RSVP for (more info below). We know that some will wake up sick the day of a meet, and at that point, you can email Coach Julie, but any absence you know of in advance, please use this RSVP function.
SAFETY RULES
To keep everyone safe at practice and at meets, we can no longer allow kids to play on the stairs when it is not their practice time. This has never been allowed at meets, and while we haven't been strict about it at practice in the past, we feel that it is in everyone's best interest and safety. We need parents' help in monitoring this.
WHAT IS ON THE WEBSITE
We hope you are enjoying the website, and most of it is self-explanatory, but to find directions to our away meets: go to the swim meets tab, click on the location name for each of our away meets, and you can get driving directions. If you have any questions or are trying to find something that you can't, please let us know.
KIDS FOR KIDS MEET
The Kids for Kids Meet is a charity meet that raises money for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. It is on Saturday, June 14 with warm-ups at 8 and meet start at 9. It is at Marist. It's a great meet with medals/ribbons given for each event. If you have any questions, let Coach Julie know. If you want to sign up, please use the registration sheet attached to this email.
LOST AND FOUND AND TRASH
We would like to remind everyone to pick up all of their belongings and trash at the end of practice each day. If you do leave something behind, it will be in lost and found (under the roof).
